1. Introduction
Seido Trading ("we", "us", or "our") operates seidotrading.com and maintains a presence across YouTube, X, Discord, and Instagram. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you interact with our website and services, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2. Information We Collect

- Your TradingView username, collected at checkout to deliver access to the Seido Indicator
- Communications you send to us directly, including support or enquiry emails
We do not collect sensitive information as defined under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:
- Processing and fulfilling your purchase
- Delivering and managing access to the Seido Indicator on TradingView
- Sending transactional communications related to your order
- Sending promotional communications where you have not opted out (see Section 9)
- Improving our website and services
We will never sell your personal information or use it for purposes beyond those listed above.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following circumstances:
Service providers. We use Shopify to operate our store and process payments, and Discord for community services. These providers operate under their own privacy policies governing their use of your data.
Affiliate program (outgoing). If your purchase was referred by one of our affiliate partners, we may share relevant sales data — such as transaction amount and referral confirmation — with that partner for the purpose of calculating and paying commissions. No additional personal data is shared beyond what is necessary for this purpose.
Affiliate programs (incoming). Seido Trading participates in affiliate and referral programs operated by third parties. Where we recommend a product or service and receive a commission for doing so, relevant transaction data may be shared with that third-party program operator. We disclose all such relationships at the point of recommendation.
Business sale or transfer. In the event that Seido Trading is sold, transferred, or restructured, customer personal information held by us may be transferred to the successor entity as part of that transaction. Where this occurs, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected customers, and the successor entity will be required to handle your information in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.
Legal requirements. We may disclose your information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
5. Overseas Disclosure
Some of the third-party services we use — including Shopify and TradingView — operate servers located outside Australia, including in the United States. By using our services, you consent to your personal information being processed in these jurisdictions. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle your data in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
6. Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate correctly and to understand how visitors interact with our content. This includes cookies set by Shopify for checkout and session management, and cookies set by Google Analytics for website analytics purposes. By continuing to use our website, you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with this policy. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, however this may affect the functionality of certain parts of our website.
7. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to collect anonymised information about how visitors interact with our website. This may include your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and session duration. This data is used in aggregate to improve our website and content. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
8. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, or as required by applicable law. Once your information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
If you wish to have your personal information deleted, please contact us using the details below and we will action your request promptly, subject to any legal obligations requiring us to retain certain records.
10. Marketing Opt-Out
