Price Action Basics

This is the starting point. Before setups or any of the higher-level concepts covered in the Price Action Mastery course — there is a foundation. The Basics is that foundation.

Nine lessons built to accompany the Seido Trading Price Action Basics YouTube series. Each lesson is structured as a short, focused study — written course notes, key concepts, and a knowledge check quiz so you can test your understanding as you go. Watch the video, work through the notes, take the quiz. Repeat until it sticks.

This module is free and open to anyone who registers. It is also a prerequisite for the Price Action Mastery course. If you are considering Mastery, this is where you start — not because the material is basic, but because everything that follows is built on what is covered here.

Work through the lessons in order. Take the quizzes seriously. Spend the first two weeks on Lessons 1 and 2 together, then one lesson per week from there — annotating daily and reinforcing each new concept before moving on. By the end of the ninth lesson you will have a clear, structured understanding of how price action works — the kind of understanding most retail traders spend years trying to piece together on their own.
